Tomás currently serves as the Executive Vice President for NeueHealth where he is responsible for all facets of NeueHealth’s consumer care business. Tomas joined NeueHealth in August of 2021 as the CEO for Centrum Health. Tomás has over 20 years of experience in managed care with a focus on value-based care delivery across a government sponsored portfolio of products.

Prior to joining Centrum Health and NeueHealth Tomas served as the Regional President for Elevance Health overseeing the Medicare line of business across the east coast. During his tenure at Elevance Health, Tomás oversaw a business that spanned 7 states and was generating over $9 billion in revenue. In this role, Tomás also had primary responsibility for Elevance’s owned care delivery sites in Florida that served over 30,000 Medicare Advantage beneficiaries.

Prior to Elevance Health, Tomás held senior executive roles at various health plans that were portfolio companies of MBF Healthcare Partners. MBF is a leading private equity firm concentrated in healthcare. These companies include Physicians Healthcare Plans which sold to Amerigroup in 2002. CarePlus Health Plans which sold to Humana in 2005. Simply Healthcare Plans which sold to Anthem (Elevance Health) in 2015.
